1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. Don't let your emotions run your life. It is easier said than done you might think. Our emotions determines who we are, but we can't let it control us. Sometimes it will let us make the wrong decisions and then we will make mistakes, which we will regret later. There is a saying "A fool storms in where a wise will hold back." We all have a lot of emotions good and bad, love, hate, fear, happiness, pain, loneliness, regret... Balance your life, to be happier. Give head to your positive emotions, try not to let life get you under. The true key to happiness is to live a balanced life. We have to keep our emotions under control. Don't throw a tantrum everyday now and again is fine. Look at a situation from all sides, analyse it and see where you can change things. We as humans are stronger than we think. Quote: What has happened is not nearly as important as what can happen. I look to the possibilities of my future for direction, forsaking the burdensome limitation of my past.

QUOTE: When you come to the edge of all the light you know and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown. faith is knowing one of two things will happen. There will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught how to fly. Barbara J. Winter. JOHN 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." My dad use to say my child if you want the perfect man you must find a friend someone that love you, someone you can share your secrets, someone you can forgive even when they make mistakes as no one is perfect, someone that see you as their best friend, their companion, your soul mate then only then you found a friend. If you can find a friend that you can sit on a porch and never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you ever had then you know that is the best kind of friend you will ever have. Treat your friends like your most expensive portraits always put them in the best light. The biggest gift you can give anyone is your unconditional attention. Friends give you hope and dream your dreams with you. A friend is a single soul in two bodies. Friends forgive each other, do not keep grudges, always be there for each other, in good and in bad times. A friend is a gift from God. He that stops being a friend never was a friend. Friends look after each other, they encourage each other, they agree to disagree, they love unconditionally ,they cry with you, they love with you, they are happy for you they are sad with you. Today we can say thank you for the friends we have, the once that lives close to our heart, the once that makes our lives special, the once that takes care of us when we no longer feel the need to take care of yourselves. If you have one true friend you have more than you could ever ask for. Proverbs 18:24 "A man that hath friends must show himself friendly, and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Proverbs 17"17 A friend loveth at all times and a brother is born for adversity. Proverbs 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Some one send me this in the week and I thought it is worth sharing.
If you think it is your alarm clock that woke you up this morning, try putting it beside a dead body and you will realise that it is the grace of God that woke you up. Do you sometimes feel that you can just give up you get discouraged when things don't turn out the way you wanted them to turn out. Do you feel like you keep on messing up, make the same mistakes over and over. Do you feel that you reach the end of the rope and don't want to go on any more as what is the use. You call your self a failure, you wish you could be clever like other people that try things and it become a great success, you try it and you fail. Do you sometimes feel when people say to you things will get better, that you think how do they know were they in your shoes before, do they know what you going threw, do they know how is it not to have funds to feed your family, do they know the fears that lives inside of you. Do you feel that you tried so many things but none of them want to work out. Are you tired of people scamming you out of the little bit that you have. Are you too scared to ask family for help out of fear of how they will criticize you. Sometimes in life we are all running on empty your natural life, your spiritual life that is when God supply, when we are forced on our knees to pray, when we feel there is no way out. He knows what we need, He always encourage us to lift up our cross, maybe a kind word from someone you know or a total stranger, a word you read, something you see. Even in your darkest hours there is always hope. God says in the bible in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." When you running on empty think that there is always a way, God will provide maybe not what you wanted but by means He will provide. Never loose hope, never give other people the satisfaction to trample over you, Get up, dress up and show up. Psalm 121:8 "The Lord will watch over your coming and your going both now and forevermore." Did you ever had that fear of coming home and not showing your parents your report card out of fear of what they will do to you.
Is your parents the type that pressure you in all you do and just want good results as they do not want others to think that they are bad parents or that their kids are bad, I've seen so many times how kids are shout at smack at when there marks were not to their parents standards, I think if we as parents have to go back to school and do the things the kids do today we will also fail as things have changed so much over the years. My dad never shouted at us or give us hidings, when we didn't do well he just said to us next term you study harder, I believe in you, I know you can do it, it taught me not to always be humble and do the same with my kids. I remember a few incidents were parents got cross with their kids because they didn't perform in school, We went and fetch my sons report and when we got the vehicle a vehicle in front of us had this women and kids I estimate one grade 4 the other grade 2, she was hitting this boy so badly on his back and smack her hand against his head, told him he is useless just like his father, I wanted to go to her and told her to stop it is not his fault, but my daughter kept me back and said "Mommy don't interfere". It is not the kids fault it, it is us as parents responsibility at the end of the day to make sure our kids understand what they learn in school, that they can come to us as parents with a open heart and tell us they need help or that they don't understand, I remember when I was in school the clever kids had a fear for their parents if they didn't get more than eighty or so for a subject, their parents would punish them. It is so wrong, parents teach your kids with respect and they will in return treat you with respect, be there for them, help them. You are their caregiver they look up to you. If you want your children to become a success teach them the right way, don't criticise, because you were criticise as a child, don't bully them, they just want to be loved and want to follow in your footsteps when they grow up. Help them encourage them, love them and when they don't do well tell it is okay next term they will get the hang of it and do better. |
