When children live with criticism, they learn to condemn. When children live with hostility, they learn to fight. When children live ridicule, they learn to be shy. When children live with shame, the learn to feel guilty. When children live with tolerance, they learn to be patient. When children live with encouragement, they learn confidence. When children live with praise, they learn to appreciate. When children live with fairness, they learn justice. When children live with security, they learn to have faith. When children live with approval, they learn to like themselves. When children live with friendship and unity in a family, they learn to find love and peace in the world.

Life is a gift from God, live it..., enjoy it..., celebrate it... and fulfil it.
Before you think of saying an unkind word, think of someone who can't speak. Before you complain about the taste of your food, Think of someone who has nothing to eat. Before you complain about your husband or wife, Think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion. Today before you complain about life, Think of someone who went too early to heaven. Before you complain about your children, Think of someone who desires children but they are barren. Before you argue about your dirty house; someone didn't sweep or clean Think of the people who are living on the streets. Before you whining about the distance you drive, Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. and when you are tired and complain about your job, Think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who whished they had your job. But before you think of pointing a finger, or condemning another. Remember that not one of us are without sin. and we all answer to One maker. And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down. Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around. Mattew 19:14
Leave the children and let them come to me, don't reject them Your children is not your children. They are the sons and daughter's of life's longing for itself. They come through you, but not from you. And though they are with you, yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts. For they have their own thoughts. You may house their bodies but not their souls. For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow. Which you can't visit, not even in your dreams. You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you. For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday. You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth. The archer sees the mark, upon the path of the infinite. and He bends you with His might that His arrows might go swift and far let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness; For even He love the arrow that flies so He loves also the bow that is stable. |
